I dare say, how our brothers, the apostles of Christ, did love the Lord...For
they gave up all to walk with Him.To learn HIs ways. To understand The ways of God.To know Him better. To simply be with Him and love Him, in a way that has all but been forgotten! To love Him in a way,t hat is beyond all imagination, in a way that cannot be attained outside of the love of God and His precious Holy Spirit!... And all but one was tortured and Martyred for His name!....The name of Jesus Christ.!
A stranger From Nazareth....This man who was known in the beginning only as the son
of a carpenter.
Who was this man from Nazareth?....that talked with the scholars as a
child and they marvelled over Him?
Who was this man from Nazareth? who walked the
streets of Galilee and people flocked to hear His words?
Who was this man from Nazareth? who healed the sick, gave sight to the blind, who
made
the lame to walk....Made the deaf to hear, cleansed lepers, cast out demons?
Who was this man from Nazareth?, that when it was heard a far off people dropped
everything to be near Him? To touch only His garments, to be close to Him.
Who was this man from Nazareth? that would cause grown
men to carry a crippled man on a stretcher, and because of the crowd could not reach
this man of Nazareth....But did in fact climb the rooftop to get to him.!
Who was this man from Nazareth? that would cause them to climb that roof just so
they could lower
their crippled
friend to the feet of this stranger, so that their crippled friend would be healed..O what
faith.!
Who was this man from Nazareth? that a woman who had spent all of her money on
drs.to
be healed of a blood disease and was not... would crawl on her knees through a crowd
because she knew that if she could only touch the hem of His garment she would be
made whole.!Oh what faith.!
Who was this man from Nazareth? who could move the heart even of the centurion
who would later be one of those who would
nail the final nail into this man from Nazareth,.... To call upon Him to heal his sick
son!
Who was this man of Nazareth? who said of the centurion "I have not found such
great
faith, NO not in Israel", Oh what faith.!
Who was this man from Nazareth? who spoke of the Kingdom of God, and could
cause, by
His
presence alone, the Kings of this earth to tremble!
Who was this man from Nazareth? whose teachings of love and of God, could cause
the very religious sect of the day to,spy and secretly conspire against Him?
Who was this man from Nazareth? whose teachings of the Kingdom of God would
cause
this same religious group...(who professed also to have loved God)..... to want to shut
Him up and do away with Him, Crucify Him and crucify Him! God have mercy.!
Who was this man from Nazareth? who was betrayed by one who walked with
Him, ate
with Him, and who left all to follow Him. And Who, for 30 pieces of silver would sell
Him to those who claimed they were of God.
Who was this man from Nazareth? that Pilate, ruler of Jerusalem sent by Caesar,
could find no offense committed by this man of Nazareth,worthy of death.
Who was this man from Nazareth? who could caused even the wife of Pilate to see
his innocence? Without a word being spoken.
Who was this man from Nazareth?, who could cause the heart of Pilate to know that
must
wash his hands of His murder? Without a word being spoken!
Who was this man from Nazareth? who, when the people cried Crucify Him, Crucify
Him,would look upon them with mercy, and later ask that they be forgiven. God help
us all!
Who was this man from Nazareth? who was spat upon, scourged,stripped and
mocked by soldiers, who and put
Him upon
a scarlet rope, and forced a crown of thorns into His head until blood poured down His
precious face.
Who was this man from Nazareth?, who when He hung on the cross and cried out
from thirst, they gave Him vinegar mingled with gall! Oh my sweet precious Lord..!
Who was this man from Nazareth?, that moments before He would die, looked upon
them
that nailed Him to the cross, and would say to God, "Forgive them Father for
they know
not what they do"!
Who was this man from Nazareth?, that the same soldiers who nailed Him there,
would draw
lots for His precious Raiment?
Who was this man from Nazareth? who at the moment of His death would cause
God, The
Mighty one Of Israel, to Rock the earth with a great earth quake...and tear the
veil of
the temple from top to bottom?
Who was this man from Nazareth?, who still today, Two thousand years (2000)
later,
causes the hearts of men to love Him so and speak of Him with such reverence, and cause enough faith to well up in their souls to move mountains. Who still today 2000 yrs later causes those who love Him to speak out boldly and in truth even at the risk of ridicule,persecution even to the extent of martyrdom?
Who was this man from Nazareth? who still today 2000 years later bears the ungodly and unjust burden of
those who would follow the ways of those holding the hammer and
nails.!
Dear Father,
how could they?! Except the enemy blind them to the truth.!!
Who was this Man of Nazareth? The centurion standing at the foot of His cross
looking up at Him said it best!,
"Truly this was the Son of God"!
