"But they are still His chosen people."
Peter says, by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit that Christians are the Chosen People.
1Pet. 2
"9: But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:
10: Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God:
Do you believe these Words from God, puddinhead?
Paul tells us that those circumcised in the heart are the real Jews.
Romans 2
28: For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh:
29: But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.
How about these?
Paul tells us that Christians are Abrahams' seed and heirs of the promise.
Gal.3
28: There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.
29: And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.
Paul tells us in Philippians that the " people of God"--the real circumcision-- are those who worship God in the Spirit. He also warns us of those whoe reject Jesus and claim to be the children, but do not worship God--Jesus in the spirit.
Phil.3
"2: Beware of dogs, beware of evil workers, beware of the concision.
3: For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh.
Conclusion: The Christian People are the chosen people of God and for the last 2000 years they are the only chosen people. All others who claim this status without accepting Jesus are impostors.
