Edwin, Sheila, and Truff: as I recall MarketEdge went negative on IOM in the first week of January when it was still trading in the $12's.... they didn't go short, but they still at least "suggested" things were tenuous. We all know that many financial services are very reluctant to use the word "sell", and often substitute the politically correct "hold"....

I ignored them (for the reasons everyone has cited), and finally started selling at $9 5/8. But I wasn't completely out until $7. Broke one of the basic investing rules - don't "fall in love" with a stock. All too easy to do.

Should have stuck with my GE.
