China's government granted rights to Intel based on Intel's outstanding products and technical superiority. Intel has announced plans to build fabs in China to meet this demand when it is needed. It is said that when China is finished building its computer and communications infrastructure that it will be the world's most technologially advanced infrastucture to date. This is due to the ground-up building that will take place using the newest and latest technologies available. Intel Corporation has won a key contract in making this all come together.
