#rttrader..just a word. Rttrader was my 'baby', my brainchild. We've had some very good guys there since it's inception: Raven, EdinVa, Joe Copia, TraderSpud (my mentor and friend) and some newer members that have come on much later like $B,AT and some others to numerous to mention. But somewhere along the line the vision was lost. The quest for the 'great trade' has changed to the quest for the 'highest op power' the power to blast others and ban. #Marketgems will be a concept where we are all created equal. We will have tasks but no one will be the 'power'. We will have great picks, great data feeds and fun, but there will be no 'almighty op' . No bickering, private hostilities, illusions of grandeur.
Those of you who have no ulterior motive other than to trade, share good thoughts, good humor will join. Those that are chagrined that they will lose "op power" will drop out. We will have an options forum, OEX forums, guest speakers, etc. But we will all be created equal. Some of the best traders I know will be on #marketgems real-time trading forum. But it will be for the MEMBERS ONLY and not for the heads to assert superiority or any vainglory illusions.
#Marketgems will be live soon and I welcome anyone and everyone to join. Equality will reign. No power will be asserted the glorified @ (op) symbol will be gone. We will be for daytraders/short term traders. We will call "trades" as trades and credit will be shared among us all. We will make money and we will have some good people. We will not however be a vehicle for self-glorification and one-up-manship. For the bickering and petty feuding, and search for glory I leave you with the chaos of the undernet where anarchy rules.
