Forced to call the company. Called Craig Crisman on Tuesday April 14th and asked him how things were going. They are QUALIFYING their 2.8 MR Heads, and have allocated some of their R&D to the 3.2's. He would not tell me who they were qualifying with, so I called Bob Blair at WDC (714) 932-7834, and he flat out told me "WDC does not comment on unannounced product." He wouldn't say anything one way or the other. FWIW, Crisman appears impressed with the team he has set up in R&D, they've accomplished a lot in six months. I asked about cash usage, issuance of more stock, etc., and he wouldn't say much (he can't), but I came away with the impression that things are looking better than I anticipated. The work on the 3.2 appears to be going OK, but again he can't say much. FWIW, IMHO, Crisman is the perfect CEO for APM at this juncture. I would not want to be short APR. Regards. |
