Freeus, as far as I'm concerned, the government should butt out of consumer products entirely unless a known poison has been added in a complimentary fashion such as happened with Tylenol. Warn me then leave me alone. If any substance is ingested in unthinkably large quantities and to the exclusion of other substances, it will probably cause some damage. The government should stop trying to keep us alive by banning or controlling so-called harmful substances. My life is my own and I want to control the risk level myself. Today it's tobacco and tomorrow it might be cholesterol or refined sugar or (gasp) coke. And we can thank all those self-righteous voters out there who think they should control the behavior of others on every level. Maybe next we'll have the Fiber Police who, without a warrant, rummage through refrigerator bins for appropriate vegetable content. I'm being sarcastic but I'm sick of others who think they know what's best for me. dulane
