Absolutely incorrect.

I am not "exaggerating" at all. Cheryl claimed that GPS will fail in 1999. That is a lie. Cheryl claimed that the satellites "embedded systems" have to be fixed. That is a lie. Also, the vast majority of receivers will work just fine after the EOW rollover. It is -indeed - a "non issue" since the EOW has absolutely no bearing in calculating current position. A very old unit may display the wrong calendar date as a result of EOW miscalculation. A relatively trivial problem.
