Hey, George what is the difference between "broadcast encoder" and a "professional encoder"? I ask because I picked up some CUBE literature and the broadcast encoder uses one chip and the professional chip uses two chips. I asked Divicom about it and they said that they use the two chip approach so that one chip can process a frame, and the other can process the frame behind the first. I talked to Innovacom and they said that with there equipment this second encoder is unnecessary. Can anybody comment on this?
