It is possible to sell stock unobtrusively overseas, I believe.

In addition, there was a filing in 7/96 to sell a 1/96 private placement. Whether or not these people actually sold, we will never know. Dawson-Samberg was buying for his fund after he had filed to sell his own shares --- it's all very mysterious. Of course when that was announced, the stock went up 10 points. A good time to have sold, in retrospect....

I can certainly imagine a scenario of various kickbacks between parties where insiders effectively may have made a bundle without officially selling their own shares.

One of the things I don't understand is some of the 1.5MM share days -- given the size of the (purported) float, this seemed like a lot to me.

Who knows what's going on with this company.

It will be interesting to see the revised 13D filings from Putnam, Dawnson-Samberg, et al to see what the big boys were up to in the quarter ending 9/30. If there were any big exits, watch out for another big drop; if everyone is still in, a jump.

I admit that I am close to some of the institutional money in this thing, and they believe in the product.
