Here's another news story from today's WSJ. Now, you know they must be short Rambus.

S. Korea's Hyundai Elec Sets Up U.S. DRAM Chip Devt
Co

SEOUL (Dow Jones)--South Korea's Hyundai Electronics Industry Co.
(Q.HEL) said Tuesday it has set up a semiconductor development
company in San Jose to develop value-added dynamic random access
memory chips, or DRAMs.

Hyundai Dynalogic, established by the chip-design division at U.S. unit
Hyundai Electronics America, plans to develop high-value-added products
such as Rambus and graphic DRAMs, which command higher profit
margins.

Rambus DRAMs were developed by the U.S.'s Rambus Inc. (RMBS) and
are said to be much faster than conventional DRAMs. The new company
will develop an upgraded version, the 72Mbit Direct Rambus DRAM.

The chips will then be manufactured at Hyundai Electronics' plant in South
Korea. Hyundai Electronics expects annual sales at the unit to reach $3.5
million in the year 2000.

Shares of Hyundai Electronics Industry, a unit of the country's Hyundai
Group, closed Tuesday unchanged at KRW22,000 on volume of 254,330
shares.
