You don't need volume to sanction a move. Volume is activity, not weight. Why should lots of activity be significant? It is never significant when you're talking about Averages. If you disagree then please explain the DOW's advance since Jan 12. Nothing to do with volume.

The NIKKEI has completed a 5 count Elliot Wave downside move and when the BOJ went short America, the downtrend was pierced. Note that I didn't say Elliot a-b-c correction. No such thing unless you believe Prechter. There is always a fifth count. The upthrust through the downtrend is backing currently, but will resume the upside very soon, maybe Thursday. All aboard.
