I know many judgesses, and they were regular business-type clothes under their robes. Sorry to de-mythologize, but the judges are constantly taking their robes on and off during the day as they move back and forth from courtroom to chambers. It's not like Scottish kilts. 1000 days huh? I'm afraid it'll take longer than that. Besides, I just signed a new 3 year office lease and I'm not sure I'll want to abandon the office before then and maybe get stuck if it doesn't sublet. Surely you didn't overlook my Knight?
