I spoke with Jack DiMarchi today and got an update with what is going on down in Suriname. I will highlight the major points: 1- Re Dijon The signifcance of hitting bedrock is the fact that at times one can find gold in soil but not in the bedrock. The auger drill cannot go through the bedrock therefore they will need a core drill campaign in order to drill properly. If they can establish that there is gold in the bedrock, then the property becomes that much more attractive. 2-Re Dijon The current feeling is that is the vein is running vertical. What does this mean?? Don't expect any spectacular results from the next assays. The first three holes were drilled in the trrench where they previously got the best samples. Thus the encouraging results. He told me that 3 more holes were back and that the results will not be as good as the first. (We can probably expect the stock to go down as it certainly didn't go up when the last results came out., This is my view, jack didn't say this). So in order to establish that the vein is indeed running vertical, they will need do some core drilling on an angle. In addition, when you drill on an angle you also can establish how wide the vein is which is a very important piece of info. 3- Re Toeboeka He said that he is very encouraged by their activity in this area. He got into some serious geology at this point but he talked about the fact that they are finding a circular pattern of two different types of rock which is very similar to the geology in other gold bearing areas of the world. Sorry can't say much more, I never took Geology 101. But he seemed quite excited by it!! 4 - Re Financing We talked about the fact that they have three seperate crews active on the different properties and how are they going keep them going with the money running out. He told he couldn't say anything more than this but that not to worry about the money situation as will become soon become clear. Hopefully, this means that they will have a partner with some deep pockets. 5 - Misc From a drilling perspective things will be slow as the dry season will last until the end of November where it is difficult to transport the drill on the river and that the country shuts down for 6-8 weeks starting in mid-December until the middle to end of January. So, don't expect the drilling on Dijon to begin until the new year. So other than the financing don't expect any major activity on this stock in the short term As always I hope this thread will generate some feedback and discussion in this group and perhaps any others will call up IR or Jack (907-452-3666) and dispute, add to, or validate anything that I've said here. After all, that is the main benefit of this group is it not?? Yours hoping that the discussion on greed around the world stops and more talk on Blue Ribbon proceeds... Graham
