High tech stocks in Japan were strong last night helped by enthusiastic expectations anticipating Microsoft 1998's coming launch, institutional funds buying tech stocks and Japanese government coming tax incentives for PC purchases! Buying of high-tech issues was also encouraged by a newspaper report on Wednesday that major computer makers plan to release in late July personal computers (PCs) equipped with the Japanese-language version of Microsoft Corp's (MSFT - news) Windows 98.
