Do you really believe AMZN could declare a split? I used to think split is to be declared in anticipation of stock price growth based on fundamentals. I wonder whether splitting a stock growing due to market mania could be treated as misleading information by SEC. And AMZN does not look like a company which is trying to pump its stock - as I remember they warned in their SEC filings they are not supposed to be profitable in the nearest future.
