this is taken right from their website: Toronto, Ontario, Canada, April 9, 1998-Hummingbird Communications Ltd. (TSE:"HUM" and NASDAQ: "HUMCF"), a world leading enterprise software company, today announces that a major United Kingdom government department has purchased a site license of Hummingbird GQL ad hoc query and reporting software and its three-tier DSS Broker application server. The deal includes 45,000 software seats plus consultancy and support, and was booked in March 1998. Why would they mention a booking date of March if not to record some revenue this Q?? Anyone know how much they stand to get from the consultancy & support? I'm guessing the latest move up has been helped by some shorts covering. Any ideas? At an average daily volume volume of 75k shares it should only take a few months for the unwinding of the short positions!!! Who knows???
