I think your assessment is right on the money -- the only thing has changed is the time element; it may take longer to settle the issues than we had hoped for. I think DeBeeres has its own agenda -- perhaps the marketing angle you refer to. But the game "ain't over till its over" said Yogi Berra. And besides, several key market analysts have said previously that without M1 SUF is worth $12.00 (and the figure is without Munn Lake where the drills are churning as we chat). The interesting market action is that some of the majors are not selling but buying. The ones with weak heart are scampering for cover -- expect a few margin calls tomorrow; the shorties smile (briefly) but the smart long ones accumulate!
