Jeff, I bought Vista 2000 based on my own DD (before II made it one of their picks). I sold in the 9's. I was still a new investor at that point and I was contemplating buying back in using margin. I thought if Ind. Investor was covering it it would be a good investmennt. It did go to around 14 and then started its long slide. I think back to VIST everytime I want to do something. It makes me think twice and what the consequences could be.

Of course QQQQ is right up there. It ranks as my number one boneheaded move. I bought soley based on the magazine and was buying to make a quick double. If I recall correctly, I could have sold out the next day in the high ones (bought in around 1 1/16). It's a learning experience that's for sure.

Some of my past and current holdings:
FONX - Made a ton of money since I bought in at $1. Should have sold my 5000 shares when it hit $12 but I was dumb (and greedy).

IFCI - Currently hold. Good company. A lot happening.

IMAT - made good money (over 100%). Stocks been stagnate for a while now. Been out for awhile

PICO - Not exciting but I made money. Recently sold.

My only losses: INNO, QLIX, STDM, and VE.TO

Jeff, check these small companies out if you want.

ADMR - Currently hold. Really growing fast and no one really knows about them. I think this one is an easy double if not a lot more.

TRIG - I bought last fall around .88. It's now at 2.68. Great little company that no one knows about.

Check them out and see what you think.

Take care,
Bill
