If you consider discussing the pros and cons of various brokers, market maker games, and Nasdaq rules to be whining, I think you see the world slightly skewed. And if you can call Datek great, then you have either been with them a very short time, are a VERY occasional investor, or are easily pleased.

When you continually get partial fills of 5, 73, 82 or 13 shares of a 1-5k share order, and don't get the rest, you will be the first to bitch.

When your open orders suddenly disappear into never never land, and Datek says you must have never placed them, you will chew your fingernails off.

When you NEVER get a response to your e-mails, or a straight answer from their personnel, you will also start buying the Tums in bulk.

I could go on, but won't. All here are familiar with what I speak. Consider yourself lucky if you aren't....... YET

And yes, I have taken 90% of my money elsewhere, so I speak with my wallet, too. (I won't even say how long that took).

I guess you like the Dilbert ticker, too.
