Ron-I am glad to see you in Elamf. The wage increase was known by management sometime in 1997, when the government mandated the increase.Gross margins should steadily increase after the 1st qtr because revenues will be accelerating. As I mentioned in a previous post,Optimag will decrease eps by $.10 per share; consequently, eps without Optimag would approach $1.00 per share. The company expects Optimag to be profitable in 1999.Both Raynal and Martens have MBA's from Stanford and engineering degrees.
When I compare the company to some of the smaller ECM companies I find the value compelling. In addition, the company's goal is to have $400 to $500 million in revenues within 5 years. The company has always had a profitable qtr and one-time charges have been non-existent.
I bought some Dswlf again at $18 15/16 based on your postings.I have a question about Deswell which I will ask on that thread.

David
