Dave, the notion that the e coli outbreak caused the fm pullback is pure bunk. The stock has been in a pullback mode for several weeks and it looks like it ended yesterday. The entire pullback has been characterized by low volume. What does that tell us? That the boo birds were weak hands easily shaken from the tree. The stock, until today, has had a shortage of buyers, not an abundance of sellers. As you know, stocks can fall under their own weight (low volume which is sans buyers), while it takes volume to move up. As fm neared 11, volume began to dry up. After hitting 11, each successive attempt after that was on low volume. What this stock needs is a strong recommendation by a name analyst. That would pop the stock to the 12-14 range which I believe is current fair value. With 58% of the stock owned by institutions, and most of it bought in the last year, this stock is destined to reach 20 within 2 years imho. Why? These guys bought because the company has returned to its former (pre-e coli) growth pattern and they see strong earnings recovery as fm goes forward.
