Is Windows '98 good for anything?

Is it just an integration of the browser that they can't give away, into the old '95 desktop?

Why would we want to pay good money to get what we have been trying so hard to avoid everytime we exit AOL? Is Gates going to make all of our other software crash if we don't each give him $109 for Windows '98?

<<The impression Microsoft Extreme left was that Windows 98 adds a new set of features, but that the new version doesn't add anything earth-shattering. For example, some older features, like updating the start menu, installing software and getting technical support, are made easier.>>

Just wondering.
