The Cyrix MII PR300 parts at $180 are too expensive. With the EXPENSIVE 512K of L2 cache (which it will need to have equivalent Celeron 266 Performance), these systems could be outside the range of the sub-1000 PC.

Cyrix another innovation. SELL low end systems into the HIGH end market.

Heck there are "people" like you who'll buy anything from Cyrix/NSM.
