Trading mining pennies.

I did a Ken Roberts futures course some time ago, which is delivered in the "profits beyond your wildest dreams" format. Anyway, I grew impatient waiting for one of his methods to actually produce results, so I tried it on penny miners.

Find a 12-mth low occuring. Watch the price climb slightly from the low, then drop again not quite reaching that 12-mth low. If it starts climbing again, past the previous little spike, buy at that point and get out just before the price that is 50% of the last major move.

It seems simplistic, but I've had some papertrading success with it. Problem is, you have to watch it like a hawk.
Can you elaborate on your methods?
Happy Mining,

Raven.
