Oh, He can be harsh. Don't remind me. I remember that time with the bus of Pilgrims in Peru. I thought it was all set up to plunge into that gorge. Who knew that the motor would seize and stop it just short of the edge. I didn't think I was ever going to get out of that public toilet detail. That's a hard place to be turning souls. Why did it have to be Grand Central Station? Owwwieh. And I think I know the little Devil that was supposed to wreck Yankee Stadium. Boy is he in for it. There wasn't anyone in those seats that the beam dropped on. Not even a Cub Scout. He can kiss his . . . good-bye. But our He is not Omniscient either. What He doesn't know won't hurt Him. Besides He likes a little deceit in His Minions. He just doesn't abide failure, is all. (You know He was the original author of "Thy will be done." He gets a kick out of hearing that every Sunday in church.)
