ALL: More 400MHZ systems CMP comparisons are rigged in favor of who the channel reseller rag wants to win: biz.yahoo.com When I configured a DELL machine to match the GTW machine I obtained the following numbers: DELL XPSR400 $2,864 GATEWAY G6-400 $ 3,153 Thus Gateway is 10% higher priced for the same machine configuration. The GTW system used by CMP for the comparisons had a 10.1GB HD instead of the 14.1 GB HD on the DELL. GTW also charges $$$ for MS Office SBE which comes on the DELL for free. Another difference is the speaker and sound system on the DELL which is supplied at the top end while the sound system supplied on the GTW was their low end sound system. IMO, CMP does not have much integrity and is not to be believed!
