Curtis:

I'm getting daily reports on the drilling at Lejano (locations and meterage accomplished) and it is going well. As I've said before, assay results are a few weeks to a month away. There is some snow down there and it's cold but we seem to be able to keep on schedule. We still hope to be able to work at Lejano into early May, but that's mostly up to the weather demons. We started in the northern portion of the arcuate feature, at Broken Hill, and we're working through East Ridge to South Ridge. It would likely be a good stroke of luck which allowed us to make it to Bacon after that, but we'll try. It's also possible we'll do some more work back in the eastern region, where the ocean moderates the weather slightly, allowing for a longer season.

We have turned down offers to do JV's by a couple of companies and we plan to keep this project -- at least, the western silver district portion -- entirely to ourselves for the time being. Meanwhile, no doors have been slammed.

If all goes well, core drilling should start down there in September or October. Locations would be guided by the results of the current program.

I hope this helps.

Greg
