Anthony, BEST POST YET. You answered a lot of what I assumed. SEXI system gets 30fps through a local video network not (should I say) a wide area video network. This makes sense. The type of bandwidth and seed required on a WAN is great and the signal would degrade of longer distances. With xDSL 30 fps over a WAN is possible. I am very excited that SEXI is working on implementing their system with NT. This is a GOOD move. All that they told you sound more like truth and reality.(needs 2-3 ISDN lines) Thank God. Now lets hope SEXI focuses on competing and assertively marketing their systems. I want to be sitting on a another Pictur-Tel. I was wondering if you could find out if SEXI plans on implementing their system to work with Novell Networks. If rumour about Lucent are true, then I would assume Novell integration is also an option. John Young sits on the board with Lucent and Novell! Perhaps SEXI could develop their own compression technology MMMMmmmmm... This whole story sounds like a company with a large lack of communications between it's management staff and Engineers. Huttoe obviously is not too technically inclined and probaly released some of the info about SEXI systems without knowing what the specs really were. 30 fps over a WAN on twisted pair, Geeez I should have known better. Either way, It sounds like SEXI has a viable high end videoconferencing solution. 30 fps is possible in the future but SEXI does not soley have this capability right now. I can't wait until you receive the specs and see their new systems. Also, do you know when their next show will be in California? I would like to see the unit myself. I though the system was a PCI card not a box. I still think it's STUPID not to be at COMDEX. That bit about not going to COMDEX still tells me their uneasy about the stability of their system. It doesn't matter whether your focus is telemedicine or movies, you should be at COMDEX. You better bet Pictur-Tel will be there and any article you read about Videoconferencing Systems will mention COMDEX and those who where there. Hope SEXI doesn't Specialize so much they squeeze themselves out of the market because No one knows who they are. Bryan
