Wisam,

Now, that IS funny! Holly is a nickname for a name I was given because, in all probability, my mother was still under the influence of anesthesia when some nameless hospital official dropped by her bedside and asked her what my name was to be. Over the years, I have asked her why she chose that particular name, but her answers have remained vague and cryptic. The above-noted scenario is my best guess as to why I came to be named as I was.
