Actually, the anesthesia theory is quite likely, as my middle name is the same as my maternal grandmother's middle name. It's my first name that throws everyone for a loop as to why Mother happened to choose it.

When I was a very young child, I preferred to be called by my formal given name. As I grew older, I came to prefer Holly. Now I rather even like it.
