I'm with you. I'd never compare CIEN to INTC --- one is on the leading edge of backbone fiber build-out and the other is over-extended in high-priced computer chips in a market shifting to low-priced products.

Yesterday's AT&T shut-down is a huge scream that the networks aren't holding up. Who's going to fix them????

I'm betting on CIEN and a selective list of other networkers.
