Important: Ron, Bobby, Bill and the Bemers, The Bema Home Page has been update to include the views and location for the latests set of drills reported on Oct/24. I took a close look at this last night and I concluded the following: 1. Hole 31/32/33 they were wildcat holes, they were too optimistic to expect anything from it, so northwest is closed, finito.
2. Hole 35 performed as they probably expected, it is amazing to see how well they placed these angles to cover the whole extent of the main porphyry zone, it is not clear to me what was the intended objective for this hole, in my opinion, it just confirmed what they already knew.
3. Hole 36, ditto 35 but to the south, again not sure the intend of this whole.
4. Hole 37, looks like was a disapointement hole, is that close to the breccia zone that probably they were aiming to intersect it, instead they hit a bunch of dikes that reduced the overall grade.
After looking the 19 holes, it seems to me that the following is evident: 1. The best chances for expanding the deposit is in the direction of hole 30 (southwest), and at depth right under the main prophyry zone.
2. Most of the holes reported so far are open to depth and grades improving as they go deeper, so chances that they may get significant good results with the deeper holes are looking very good.
3. Breccia has now a better defined "contoure" sp(just to make Ron feel better), I would expect them to poke at least two holes through the breccia to test the northwest extension and at depth.
Overall, I have the feeling that Bema's approach to the last set of holes was to define the major boundary limits on the northeast and now they will go for the areas where they know they have a definite potential to expand the deposit. Well this is my un-educated interpretation, but there may be people in this thread with better understanding of geology and exploration rationale, please spend some time and give us your opinion, any input here counts to educate me better and have a stronger position to make decision on this play.
Last editorial note, I called John Anderson yesterday, I am told that he wil not be back in Vancouver until Nov/11, so I am assuming that he is either in Chile with the dog and poney show they are putting together for the analysts or somewhere in the caribean vacationing with our money (just joking, don't sell your shares yet).
