Information on Alcatel contract. I was on the Yahoo FSCX site and found some interesting reading on the Alcatel contract. It's worth reading. Speaking with someone in the industry, I asked why Madsen might not be willing to announce awarded contracts. The answer made sense. It's not his choice. He would love to be able to make those press releases. But much of what FSCX produces and is currently selling (or trying to sell) is incorporated into larger frame relay systems. End to end solutions, as it were. Alcatel, GTE and the others don't really want to have the name of every piece of equipment by every vendor named in press releases. It just doesn't help them and could potentially hurt them, as their competitors attacked the individual pieces of the equipment, in an effort to gain their customers. Just a random thought. R..
