I agree. The cash hoard represents about 75% of the net assets (if memory serves me right) which is returning a very small % and not contributing very much to EPS.
As a shareholder in Pair while I like the strength that all this cash brings to the balance sheet I would hope that this as a short term strategy until they can find something more productive to do with their surplus funds.
The only other good thing I can say about all the cash is that with the relatively low EPS it will help make Pair a more attractive target for acqusition.
Hoarding cash as a long term strategy would worry me as it indicates a very conservative management style who are completely adverse to risk and are unlikely to show any outstanding results but will plod along from year to year.
