This is so outrageous that it hardly warrents comment.If Cooper and Groome want to destroy their careers, the acceptance of this offer will do it. It will certainly trigger investigations and litigation. It is the worst thing American Brands could do strategically,given all the facts (especially the recent awards and shelf space) and that they already have terminated their tender offer, waiving their tender rights.
I'm not surprised at this, but with so many people following it now due their earlier fraudulent behavior, it sure is stupid. It's the first pill in a suicide attempt.
