Had good luck so far with Waterhouse. Have one complaint, relatively minor but want to get reactions. Also I think that company representative might want to get a handle on this as it probably is the time of irritant that the company does not wish.

In any event, I entered a trade good for day, got a partial fill, and then a later fill. I was told several times that this was considered 1 trade for commission purposes. In fact, I got second commission charged, but at a reduced rate of $8.

Was told after the fact that this was an error but today told that any trade that is in fact bifurcated would get multiple commissions and the rep recommended that I do "all or none". However, this sometimes puts one in a disadvantage with the market maker who loves to play games.

So---- I really like their service so far. However, I do think they should clarify exactly their policy here. Further, I would recommend that they do a one trade = one commission, with all trades for the day in that one stock, which are entered as an order, at the same time be treated as one trade.

Thanks and if you wish to discuss, contact me.
