I use WebBroker, and have never been charged a second commission for partial fills, once the rest of the order went through. I have never had to ask for one $12 commission; it has been automatic. If I place a sell for 1200 shares of XOMA, and 800 sell, I am charged $8 for that trade, and if the rest fills later, I am charged $4 more at that time. More than fair, and never had to ask for this, a situation which occurs at least twice a month.
