I questioned a few things about how this stock was hyped. The Undervalued Dog newsletter put out erroneous info, and they pushed the rumor of a merger, which is in serious question at this time, due to the account of an ex-employee, who seems to have no reason to mislead investors, being in a position to need to keep his reputation as an information source. He insists that the President of SCTI told him that there is no merger foreseen, and I believe he is being truthful.

For questioning the hype and complaining about the publication of the wrong date for the meeting (resulting in my buying in at the wrong time), I was assaulted by a rabid pack of Dog followers, accused of being in cahoots with the person who brought the info to this thread, etc.

I do believe that if merger plans were to be announced today, then we would be seeing a surge of insider buying right now and the price spiking up. Therefore common sense tells me not to expect too much today.

There is just too much rumor that has lifted the price even to its present level, and this level might even not be supported after today.

I could be wrong. But I'm acting on the signs and signals that I see.

I do believe that the company will stand on its own long term. They have good products, a serious client base, and an eye for international markets, especially Asia, where they are also manufacturing at lower costs due to the Asian financial crisis.

The vid game industry is huge, and anyone around kids (of all ages) sees the powerful lure of good games.

I hope this helps, and also serves as encouragement for open debate and reasoned thinking on this thread.
