<< Thus, investors looking to rotate into a depressed sector, have to be keeping an eye on Biotechs >> I agree with you. All those big pharmas are going to need new drugs, over the next few years, and guess where many of those drugs are going to come from. Plus, we are seeing an explosion in drug development, unlike any other time in history. << A few days ago I acknowledged that LGND COULD hit 14 in 1-3 weeks or it COULD hit 15 in the same time frame. >> I hate to sound like a broken record, but...... In June 1995, LGND rallied from about $6 to $9, or a move of about 50%. In April-May 1996, LGND rallied from about $11 to $19, or a move of about 70%. In April-June 1997, LGND rallied from about $9 to $14, or a move of about 50%. I'm not sure, but I think that a pattern is forming. <g> I sure hope that LGND is predictable! But........ History doesn't always repeat. We might've seen the LGND rally already this year, from $11 to $16. On the other hand..... things have changed, and LGND has increased in value over the last year. If we are going to see the fourth straight LGND spring-summer rally, this year, similar to the previous three years' moves, we could see a move of around 50%, or a target price of about $21-22 by July. The unfortunate part is- If the rally comes after the 20,000th post, instead of before, I don't know how badly Walter will react. It's my understanding that he wanted to be able to buy a South Sea Island, from his LGND winnings, during the time of post 20,000. Regards, Bob |
