No, sorry if I made you feel foolish... I don't know if the phased array (electrically steerable) antenna is economically or aesthetically feasible for home use anyway, so I may be the one feeling foolish soon :-) I personally don't like the idea of a moving dish antenna as I can see positioning problems cropping up over time as the mechanical settings drift, unless there is some sort of feedback from the IRD/STB that can help position the dish. FB
