The bottleneck is still the system bus, I/O transfer. That is only one of the bottlenecks. For most of us, a 100mhz bus to main memory will not be much of a boost, but if you are working with memory intense apps putting a large amount of additional memory (64mb+) in your system will noticably boost performance. Most of us use more CPU power on our screen savers or 'system idle process' than anything else anyway. JMO (Just my opinion)
