David, you are right... David, you are one of the best stock pickers I know, and everything you said is right. You and I jsut differ on trading styles. CMP was in my trading portfolio, it is obviously in your long term portfolio. Medicaid is the low end of the business, that is true. And yes, you can make money, but you need huge economies of scale to do it. A company with negative shareholder value paying usurious rates of preferred shares needs more high margin business. Street needs to improve the mix. Check out front page of Wall Street Journal. It talks about Medicare getting elderly into HMOs. Humana is heavily involve din this. DocStone
