Lucretius,
We, here-in, try to discuss the the factors which affect the price of
gold with-out discussing individual stock issues of mining companies.
In times past the price of gold was government set. When refering to those times (it has been determined) it is acceptable to refer to HM as many experts have used it's stock price as a proxy for POG.
We also slipped a bit during the Bre-X thing,as it set the entire industry in a bad light(& some say even undermined basic gold price). We all try very hard to not talk about our own picks, or even funds by
name.
OK, When many upgrades in mining stocks happended last month& prior to that by Peter Lynch, we mentioned it.

But we all try to be good.
