Ok AT! Question for you and everybody else, I guess. I never had this encountered but will definitely help on my future trades.

Your trade did not go throught due to insufficient funds. Isn't there a 3-day settlement grace period? Or did it only apply because you were buying on margin? If you indicated cash, then I guess your trade would have executed but you have to send in money within 3 days. If you indicated margin, then it's up to your broker if they'll execute or not. If they execute then they will require cash. Those bastards will probably tell you it got executed if the stock went down. Since the stock went up, they'll keep it for themselves.
