mp, let us....track the track record of the EMPEROR and see if he really does have any clothes....

Let's start with last years results in The Wall Street Journal's annual All-Star Analysts Survey. The survey is conducted by Zacks Investment Research and ranks analysts by stock-picking skill and by earnings-estimate accuracy. The link provide names of analysts who made the list along with the names of their firms, and their rankings, as reported by The Wall Street Journal.

In 1997 Tom Kurlak did not make the semiconductor analyst's list for stock-picking skill and came in fifth (for his first appearance on the list) for earnings estimate accuracy.

Does anyone know anything about Kurlak's family background, academic credentials, technical experience, and work history?

This information may help us to determine if Kurlak's opinions are based on fundamental research or if he has been fooling us with pshycological manipulations using the resources of Merril Lynch for cover.

In any case, it is imperative for us to find out. If he is legitimate and he is right a signifcant portion of the time, there is no use for us to fight it and lose money in the process.

I'm not into losing money to prove a point.

Regards,

Mary Cluney
