Green Oasis Environmental, Inc. Announces Clarification Regarding DHEC Application
CHARLESTON, S.C., April 16 /PRNewswire/ -- Green Oasis Environmental, Inc. (OTC: GRNO) announced today that it had become aware of certain misleading rumors regarding Part I Permit Application of Green Oasis Environmental Partnership I with the Bureau of Air Quality of the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control (DHEC). In light of these rumors, the Company, as general partner of the partnership, announced that it had previously retained Regulatory Strategies, a South Carolina environmental consulting firm, to prepare, file and secure from DHEC the required permits to operate the partnership's distillation/thermal cracking unit, located in Charleston, South Carolina, at a capacity of 1,000 gallons per hour. The unit had been previously permitted for usage at 275 gallons per hour.
The Company further noted that DHEC/BAQ required additional S02 and PSD calculations in the meeting of March 27, 1998 and that the partnership's permit application transmitted by Regulatory Strategies to the Bureau of Air Quality at DHEC was logged into the system on April 10, 1998 and that the partnership, through Regulatory Strategies, is continuing to process the application with BAQ and respond to questions raised by that office.
Green Oasis' patent-pending process is designed to produce marketable fuels from waste oils in a closed cycle, one step process. The Company manufactures equipment for its own use as well as markets worldwide.
