James and George: Bias in favour of selling today is not unusual on the day earnings are announced. Also the general market's upward move yesterday accounted for a percentage of the BAY rise yesterday just as the general market move down today has removed that froth. If people had hard news the movements up or down would be more pronounced. No doubt the jitters has contributed to some of the selling interest.

Isn't it all a bit undemocratic, sitting around waiting for what "Uncle David" will tell us, not knowing whether we are going to profit or lose, as a result? Somehow, it should not come down to this, we ought to be able to rely on his most recent statements to analysts in the "warning CC" and the tone of his recent interviews in the press.

To buy, to sell? Perchance to dream. Whether to suffer the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune or.......

Good luck.

Victor
