Just to get this discussion back to Wal-Mart, what about the price drop today? No big deal, but I would guess it was just due to normal profit-taking.

As for a potential split, I agree that we are approaching split territory, but what happened after the last one four years or so ago (at something like $55 per share) was not pretty. I'd rather see the company lay off on any stock split discussion until we see where the price stands later this summer.

If it hits 70, then a split may be called for. If we're still in the 50s, I would be against it.
