Eugene, Silverman is not the victim. You are. I don't hold either a long or short position at the moment, and have been long in the past. Silverman has been selling all along, and has gotten quite rich from HFS and CD. His Hotel and Brokerage divisions along with AVIS have done well, and will probably continue to do well if Silverman wakes up and realizes that 8% is not everything. He needs to be honest with his franchisees and stockholders or he is doomed.
